The BEST Android Battery app

[lxTonylx]

What is the very best, and free, android app that increases battery life? My new android phone's battery is sort of bad and dies out quickly so I would like to know the very BEST app there is to get. Also if you guys can tell me any app that clears out junk and stuff from my android phone that'd be great too. Thanks guys!

Please read the subset of my post below. What phone are you using as some have different issues than others.

Another thought about battery life for new phones is that they are usually terrible for the first few days of use. This generally has less to do with the phone and more to do with "moving in." Getting all your apps setup, syncing all your accounts, etc. Also, you tend to play a little more in the first few days getting used to your new phone.

You may find other tips in your phone specific forum.

OK, you could try the forum for your phone as battery issues can be phone specific. Below is a link to your phone's forum:

I'd stay away from battery saving apps, they usually do more harm than good unless you don't use your phone much. As for clearing out junk, you are most likely looking at rooting and getting rid of bloatware, and using a cache cleaning app like NG cache cleaner or Cachemate.
