I know it's not bread, but I worked on a dessert for an industry event for the catering company my wife works for. It's a beet red velvet cake, orange goat cheese frosting, ginger white chocolate sauce, orange coulis, walnut tuile.
Took a few nights of work but cranked out enough for 100 of these!

So last weekend, I ran my first marathon, the Shamrock Marathon in Virginia Beach. It was an incredible experience; I had a blast. For really only having started running in September of last year, it was a huge goal and accomplishment of mine. We finished on the boardwalk and wondered onto the beach. I had to finally sit down, and with no seats around, the beach was it. Needless to say, getting back up on my own accord was NOT happening!
