im only 7 months into a 2 year not available for upgrade but i got a bb storm bc i was naive left the iphone was sick of 'media' phones (shoulda just got the droid) and i hate my bb right now need to get rid of it ... want the x but wanna know what the full retail is? was told i can put it on my bill is that true? which would give me time to unlock my storm put it on ebay and take some of the dent off the bill. Someone told me its gonna be around 700 but i said thats crazy and it should be around the same price as the incredible @ 500 and change

anyone know any dirt?

It wont be around the same price as the HTC incredible. It is going to be a Motorola built phone man. With better hardware. It will be more than the incredible. As far as the price goes, I do not know how to estimate the value of the phone, sorry.

The Incredible is $529 and current Motorola Droid is $569. Hope that helps you to ball-park the Droid X.

I would say it should be Atleast $550 $600 tops anything more then that would be ridiculous.$700 is crazy the Droid was 570 so I would imagine it would be around there

how come the phone price is so high off contract? I thought Android phones were cheaper due to licensing fees and such, the EVO is only $450 (but with Sprint i know).

Are you required to get a 2 year data contract to get the discount? I'm just wondering because I have multiple lines on a family plan and one of my lines is due for an update, but I don't want that one to be a data line.
