Help The black line

Have any of you that have that black line flash across the screen been able to get rid of it? It's not a real big deal but it is annoying.

Well I bit the bullet and did a factory reset. Yes it was a PITA but I have yet to see the black line. If it comes back I'll repost.
 
Wait, a FDR got rid of the black line? Wow. I would have thought that it was a hardware problem, but apparently not....

This is good to know.
 
I must have not been looking at the screen long enough. It's still there. Crap. Guess I'll get in touch with Asus.
 
Well I performed a factory reset on my Infinity - three actually (one after the other) as another site recommended it to try.

It didn't work.

I still get the black line appearing randomly.
 
Asus sent me an RMA number to send it back for them to look at it. Saturday will be 90 days since I got it from Best Buy. I think I'll take it back to them first and see what they say.
 
Well I took my Infinity back to Best Buy and once again they hooked me up. Their wi-fi is terribly slow so I guess the guy just decided to give me a new unit because they were so busy with Christmas returns. I haven't seen the black line on this one so far. The browser is still very laggy but the tablet itself is pretty snappy and smooth.
