After having an Otterbox case on my Eris and really liking it, I bought the Commuter for the D4. I don't doubt for a minute that it will stand up to all kinds of abuse, but I found that it just doesn't work for me. The big show-stopper was the cover over the power button, which makes it incredibly fiddly and more times than not ends up keeping it pressed in long enough that the Phone Options menu pops up. After two years with the rubbery Eris case, the hard, slick plastic on this one make the phone uncomfortable to hold on one hand and slips off of surfaces like my pant leg if I need to set it down there.
Has anyone else found a case they like?
I've had Body Glove cases on a couple of previous phones and liked them, so I may try their D4 model next or just punt and get a plain-Jane silicone skin that doesn't add too much bulk.
