Received my rooCase today. Just getting to work now though so I'll let ta know what I think of later. All I can say now is it is exactly like my case for the OG 7 but fits better.

Noreve(French case company) has just completed a premium leather case for the 2013 Nexus 7. Available September 4, 2013. Ships free with no tax for $80.

ASUS New Nexus 7 FHD Official Premium Cover, White

I saw Phil posted a review on AC, but many are saying it doesn't fit well. It's not being sold directly by Amazon, but through a 3rd party. Think I will wait till I see a video review of this case before I consider it. For now, I'm trying the Poetic one.

The Asus Premium Cover looks like exactly the kind of design I wanted. The Poetic is okay, but honestly, the tri-fold cover gets looser over time to the point where it doesn't effectively stand the tablet up for long periods of time.

But really... they're charging $40 for a cover that doesn't make use of the smart wake function, and doesn't have any method to keep itself shut? At all? Sometimes the stupidity of companies can be just... astonishing. How can you sell a cover for $40 that can't even keep itself shut?

I got the Moko case. It arrived Thursday. So far I really like it. It doesn't add to much bulk or weight to the nexus. I enjoy the autowake but have found it only actually happens about 75% of the time. I still often need to push the button. The other bummer is that the casing around the headphone jack I've found prevents me from completely inserting the audio cable for some of my headphones that have a wider plastic at the end. It was less than $10 when I ordered it, and visually, it's exactly what I wanted in a case, hard back, slim front with magnet closure. I figure I'll see how it goes and if the autowake decreases in how frequently it actually works, I might get a new case. For the price I'm quite satisfied with it.

The case is okay, but to set it up in tripod mode, you have to slip the cover under a flap in the back and it's what we used to call "Hokey" when I was a kid. Kinda half-assed. This isn't as convenient or steady as other cases do in tripod mode.

I've been very happy with the Poetic Slimline case. They really stand behind it, too. My case cracked after about 6 months. I sent them a picture, and a copy of my receipt, and they quickly sent me a replacement. My kids all got similar cases for their Kindle Fires. We all love them!
