Google seriously wants to take over the smartwatch market with their Android spin-off and it does seem like a pretty decent OS to put on a watch. No doubts on that.
But my question is, is Android Wear any good for anything else? Do you think that, as it stands, Android Wear is a viable choice to put on the wearables of the (not so distant) future.
I think it'd be kind of clunky to have a different Android for every single type wearable device that is made but I don't know if Google have thought that much ahead.
What do you guys think? Has Android Wear the capacity to evolve and take on new challenges or is it a one-off technology which will fade out when the smartwatch craze wears off?
