This and other Optimus forums used to be beehives of activity. Even more so when Gingerbread was released. But, sadly, even more when the complaints started coming in.

I'm still on 2.2ZVC so that I can get free Hotspot (like you, I think). Maybe someday when I get time and a pair of balls, I'll root and try gROM, which now has Adobe Flash built in. I gues part of the reason for the low board activity is that the Optimus S works really well, and about as well as we could ever expect from this somewhat dated hardware. Fortunately, there's really not much to improve or discuss, is there?

I'm still on the 2.2zvc, I don't see the advantage to "upgrade".
But recently I have trouble with my goggle mail, it would not sync., I reset it several times and works for a couple of days only, even uninstalled the updates with no luck.

I'm on 2.2ZVC and have no problems Google mail (or anything else). Hence I don't see any need to "upgrade".
