Help The Home Button thinks it's the Menu Button!

Hey everyone,

I'm new here and this is my first question, so apologies if this has already been asked and answered! If it indeed has, please direct me to the relevant link!

I've got a Note 3, a little over a year old. I've never really had issues with it, until a few days ago. Whenever I press the Home Button, the S-Finder pops up, and when I press the Home Button again, the home screen settings pop up! I have to press the Home Button 3 times to get to the home screen and for my phone to act normal.

In other words, the home button thinks it's the menu button as well! Does anyone know what the problem might be and how I could possibly fix it?

Thank you! :)

Just some guesses

Go into S-finder and disable the setting to launch a finder with home key (if that's a setting)

Also it may be that the phone is registering a long press, try tapping with a shorter duration
