Root The I bricked my hydro club

This is for the any one who bricked their Hydro and want to share their experience on how you did it so we can start a database for future reference.


I'll start it off with my bricking experience. I downloaded Cwm Rom manager from the play market. thinking that i just rooted my Hydro and I was on a roll, what kinda of rom i was going to try. did a backup of course and seems it did it to quick.... not knowing on the next step to start the rom manager installed it popped up what kind of phone i have .. since theirs was no hydro listed i picked the closes phone i thought i can be ... the phone did a few flashes and ask to restart phone.. i said cancel so i can browse the sd card and seen what changes and files it backup... wasnt much and i restarted my hydro and was stuck on the hydro kyocera screen every since.... its been more then a brick, it served well as a paper holder, sdcard storage and dust collector.....

Yeah, there is no CWM possible for either the Hydro or the Rise currently. Flashing with ROM Manager will just replace the wrong files, which will result in a brick.

Pimp my Hydro bricked

Dang Id just bricked my Hydro using pimp my rom... adjusting heap size two low I guess...... now its stucked on a boot loop... just contacted kyocera via email.. this is my second hydro ive bricked!!!
