The illusion app

Ok, follow me with this.

Say you hand your friend your phone to use, but you have things on there you dont want them to see...or anyone. And their not even trying to be nosy, but they see something like an app or message that popped up, that you didnt want them to see.

I would love an app that allows me to hand my phone over to prying eyes without any concerns.

Lets say, with this app, I hand my friend my phone...but it asks for a passcode/pattern (just in case someone you really dont want gets a hold of it). They enter a real easy passcode/pattern (easy because its designed to let people in (user creates their own passcode/pattern)) and as soon as the phone unlocks its on a whole different profile. A profile that you have in place to not show anything you wouldnt want prying eyes to see.

Basically, this app is passcode/pattern sensitive. I have my own passcode/pattern that keeps my phone locked and then unlocked to the profile I use daily. Then, I have a second passcode/pattern that most people would know (family and friends and spouse) which opens up to a "safer" profile.

Certain numbers are blocked from calling and texting while on that profile. Certain apps won't show. Call and text logs not shown or selected numbers will never show (invisible). Browser history always deleted. Gallery wouldn't show certain pictures or videos at all.

Any idea if this is possible?
Hope I was clear.

Just throwing it out there...

Nice idea indeed. And while reading it, I realized its one of the things I've been wanting on my phone sub-consciously :p

I had been snooping around this forum trying to get some nice ideas and hit upon yours. Though it doesn't mean I'm on it (or that I'm qualified enough to develop such an app), it'll surely be in my mind and I'd give it a shot. Sorry if its technically impossible (though i doubt) or requires a lot of rooting knowledge, definitely worth some research from my part :)

Thanks...
