I got KDE looking like Mac OS X so it can be as customized as Android.
Moody, it would appear the roles have reversed. Now you're having problems while everything works fine for me. Except, I would still like the option to boot ChromeOS. If I re-enable OS Verification, it wipes everything, including Linux. None of the scripts meant go restore ChromeOS as the default work. It always boots into Ubuntu.

I took a break from it (had to go outside to feed the peacocks anyway) that lasted several hours. Then I decided to reset the Chromebook back to its original condition. I started over. I'm now installing Kubuntu on it--via Ubuntu and Synaptic.
except for changing the software launcher from the default Kickoff to Lancelot...as well as changing the wallpaper. I already got a Macbook, don't need another laptop looking like it. LOL
gParted shows a file system as I described earlier: /dev/sdaX where X=1 through 12, plus three unallocated; it reports file systems including unknown, unallocated, fat16 and ext4; there is no 'mount point' column, and each partition I've clicked on shows 'not mounted.'
