The most annoying ad I've ever encountered on Phandroid

This On Star WiFi Connect ad that covers the entire posting then leaves a banner ad on the bottom is ridiculously annoying. You close the big section and the bottom section remains, you close the bottom and it just moves over to the side. The if you click on a different post or check out another page it does it all over again. I know the site needs to generate revenue to survive but this particular as is so f'ing annoying I can barely take it.

UPDATE:

It even comes back when you post a reply to a thread. This ad may be generating revenue but it is seriously cutting into my user enjoyment.

I don't even know how you put up with obnoxious ads like that for this long. Got an ad blocker on my phone and laptop at home. To me, ad blockers are essential for my web browsing experience.

Yeah, I was browsing AF on my Moto G yesterday since I couldn't access certain forums on TT and it was next to impossible with all the ads (in Desktop mode).

I've moved this to suggestions and feedback since the admins are more likely to see it here. I agree that it is making using a mobile browser in desktop mode impossible.
