That's right...moto and Verizon says that those who got the "phantom" update never saw it. Speculation is that they are being threatened to have the cell tower near their house dismantled if they assert otherwise.

So what does this have to do with us Eris users? I have no phreaking idea!

I don't know. But we will probably find out after the next Eris OTA/2.x/update thread is created

Maybe it means that somebody pushed the wrong button...just as others have speculated.
