hey guyz just read an article on gsmarena.com tht an update for market is available for US users, so i want to knw frm the US users(bec its only available in US only for nw) ....did u get it? i mean will wildfire support the new market as frm the video the market looks awesome n much better, but its written it wont support all the devices ,...so want to be sure if it supports wildfire or not

I'm not a US user, but can tell you more informations. It should be available for all Android 2.2+ devices. It will take a long time (most probably) to get it in Europe, because Google needs permission from movies/books copyright holders, which is easier to get in US (it's easier to sign contract with copyright holder for US, than with many copyright holders in Europe for many countries). Most probably it will be something like Google navigation, it will be available after months in some coutries (like UK, Germany, Australia, France, ...), but never in most counties of the world. And (for sure) movies/books selling will be available just to stock and non-rooted Android devices (it's easier to overtake DRM protection on rooted phone and therefore Google will not allow this).
Some users here in CZ have already installed the new Market (see links bottom), but of course, the books/movies lending is not available (just US).

I'm happy to live in Czech republic, we got the full Market and navigation just with 1 year delay.
Even if you live in Egypt, the Market should be automatically updated in few weeks. If you don't want to wait, you can get it from the links in my previous post, this is the new Market apk.
Few users reported problems with some apps not showing in Market after this manual update, if you get problem, you can try to show all applications (Market, Settings and set filter to "All applications") or delete the new version (and revert to old Market in the phone). Just go to Settings / Applications / Manage applications, select tab All applications, find Market and select "Uninstall updates" (or similar, I'm too lazy to switch my phone on, switch it to english and check exact names

I doubt Wildfire will get gingerbread, HTC made it official.
