Help the phone just died

hi i was wondering if any one else has had there s3 just die on em. it was at about 80% battery and it switched it self off. i have tried removing the battery but thats about it. Any ideas of the cause? this phone is a piece of crap compared to the iphone as far as quality goes. first the silver bit had peeled now this crap. thanks

I've had my phone repaired for a motherboard fault. But then, so have iphone users.

I wonder why all that didn't happen to mine. I understand you are frustrated and it's completely legitimate to be so, yet, mine never had a single issue and it hasn't chipped at all. The iPhone 5 is much more prone to scratches, believe me, of the many friends who bought the latest Apple's phone, some already got it scratched on the sides.

Get it fixed and sell it to someone that'll appreciate it and get yourself an iPhone and live with all the limitations.
