Help the process android.process.acore has stopped unexpectedly. please try again

Brand new Samsung Galaxy S which I recieved in the post this morning.

Every time i try to send a text, when i try to select the contact I wish to send the message to, the error message 'the process android.process.acore has stopped unexpectedly. please try again' comes up. I called up Samsung and the woman who I spoke to was useless so please help me!

I had a similar problem, except it was with LauncherPro and it popped up every 2 seconds so I couldn't do anything.

If you have 3 button combo for recovery mode working, do a factory reset/data wipe.
If not, tick USB debugging and go to recovery mode using ADB.

The factory reset/data wipe SHOULD help, but make some backup first.
