The Tablet Tavern

Thinking, but probably not :D I'm a cheapskate :P

I'm still thinking of getting the HP 14 Chromebook. Or wait for the Toshiba ones to come out.
 
My laptop is a Toshiba, maybe it will have a decent price. I cashed in my rewards balance at Office depot to get 30 dollars off on my mom's tablet, so it only cost 129 dollars
 
This is me waiting for my car to get its annual state inspection, typing on a new Asus Zenbook with Windows 8.1 tethered to my Nexus 4.

Love it enough to where I don't even want to root it

Anyone who knows me knows that's a really good compliment :thumbup::D

So far..
Pros:
BATTERY LIFE!
Video quality
Sound quality


WEIGHT. It's extremely light in my hand. It came as a major shock because I thought it looked so bulky and heavy, but I was dead wrong

Cons
Takes a very large amount of time to charge. (to be expected though)
I'm not really digging the notification bar (quirky)
When it goes into landscape it leaves a huge gap from app to dock (ugly)

I'm not going to say this as a con, as it wouldn't be very fair to the device, but I was extremely disappointed that when I updated it didn't get the kitkat update.
The only reason however is because they said it could be updated on Nexus 10 wifi (I have the 32gb Samsung version) on the product info..

I'm not really concerned with it though because after some reading around, it says the Kitkat update will be coming to the Nexus 10 sometime soon.. ;)

So that's a rundown on my experience with my Nexus 10 lol
Its been only one day, so I'll be sure to update occasionally about my experience :thumbup::D

That falls under, "I didn't do it, nobody saw me do it, you can't prove anything.." LOL
 
Morning everyone. Been distracted by football. I've watched the Panthers go from ranked 21, 23, 24, 27, 21, 21, 26, 24, 18, 12, 12, 6, and 5. It's been quite the rollercoaster. And making Patriots fans cry is just the greatest thing ever.
