*gasp* glad you caught it! I have dropped my tab (and my phone) too many times to count. yeay for ifrogz and otter boxes!
 
Done an impulse buy today. A Kliton i806 ICS 5 inch dual SIM phone.

It's as cheap, off-brand and Chinese as these things come. Completely Googleless. Comes from Shenzhen of course. And it's actually OK so far, better than I expected. Came with two 2Ah batteries, the usual cheap'n'nasty earbuds, a USB charger, an instruction leaflet(Chinese only). and a wallet type case.

First time I've had any real use of the larger 5 inch phones, and it does seem rather large in my hand, wouldn't want to go any bigger at all.

I did yesterday, dropped my uncased Lenovo on the hard ceramic floor. Cracked the glass. The phone still works OK. Fortunately branded Chinese phones are fairly cheap to repair here. But it has to be sent off to Beijing for a couple of weeks, which I'll do after the New Year.

I've also broken two phones just by having them in my pocket. A Nokia N95 and a Samsung Galaxy S, both cracked screens. I've seen people drop iPhone 4Ss without cases twice, that's expensive.
 
oh yeah, that's expensive! Actually, I have a tendency to drop things on concrete, toss them in my purse, the kids get a hold of them... i'm just better all around with cases!
 
Not really a fan but her music is good.
P.s if you watch her music videos you'll be an even bigger fan if you catch my drift ;)
 
Snowmegeddon sounds fun. I'm all alone today . Might go out in a bit and have a play around will phones and tabs I haven't tried yet. Only problem is last time I did that I bought one.

We are pretty well prepared for normal snowstorms with accumulation up to three feet. That is normal New England winter Nor'Easters

This one brings with it high winds (60-75MPH), thunder snow (which usually brings 3-4 inches of snow in about 20 minutes), as well as general snowfall rates of 2-4 inches an hour. The wind and high snowfall rates overwhelm the ability to keep roads clear and power on.

I'll be posting photos throughout so long as I have power. It should be starting around noontime (it is 6AM here now) and peaking overnight.

I'm watching the news, and they have given up on the top end for snowfall.:rolleyes::rofl:

Worst case is I lose power (and with it heat). Aside from that, I'll stay off the roads and be perfectly safe.

I'll have my phone. Great thing about Verizon is it almost never goes down. And I can charge it in my car.
