There should be General threads! - Channels

And there have been many different music player threads over the years. Likewise a whole slew of browser threads. Sometimes there have been threads comparing calendars, or launchers, or other app classes. And many for general app suggestions/recommendations. But eventually they go quiet and disappear further and further down the forum.

You can't sticky them all or the whole first page of the forum just becomes a list of sticky threads. But if you do a search you'll still find them.
 
This is one aspect of the app that keeps coming up. Our main objective is to not create a Tapatalk app. We want to provide an easy mobile experience that shows relevant content to the user.

With that said, we continue to think of a way to fill this void so please feel free to elaborate more... We're listening!
 
I like the idea of having app category channels.

So say Alvin installed Poweramp and Beatrice installed Rocket player. They can't talk to each other under their respective app channels, but would be able to discuss music players and features in general under the top level music player channel.

Especially useful for stuff like that where there are many options of apps that do very similar things.
