Things are moving very fast we are about to be outdated

Our best-rated Android phone just got even better with invigorated muscle packed into a blazing 1.7GHz quad-core processor for 67% faster performance.* HTC One X+ offers uncompromised response to your multiple demands starting with doubled internal storage: 64GB worth. And, it

There will always be something better than what you have. I'm just happy I'm starting to catch a 4g signal.

Bigger battery will be eaten up by the slightly beefier specs. Don't know if there will be much benefit in actual life/ performance.

We are going to get jelly bean soon, so we will be on the same software. Should make comparisons interesting!

There will always be newer phones coming out. It looks like HTC will persevere with this one x form/ family of devices for some time now. This is actually a good thing for us. Any new features for these newer phones should be easily ported to our device.

As long as we get jelly bean fairly soon i'll be happy,

The battery improvements when they updated to 4.0.4 made the battery good enough for me :)

The Canadian/American one can get LTE too, or is that because Rogers got a special version?

AT&T also has the version with the S4 processor and LTE. It depends on which one your carrier can get or which one you specify when you purchase.

People still live in Europe? Make the pilgrimage man you're 300 years behind ;):p

:D

On a serious note, I personally find 4g to be overrated. I usually go without it as its not in most places I go. Sure its fast, but I get by just fine without

How does it compare to wifi speed wise?

I agree and disagree with this. I find 4G to be amazingly fast - significantly faster than the WiFi at my house, and certainly faster than 3G - but at the same time, I don't really do much with my phone that requires that kind of speed. IE, watching a video or whatever, 3G is just fine.

So I wouldn't call 4G overrated, but just unnecessary for most applications.

You can get the 4G version of the One X (XL) on EE in the UK which is launching in a couple of weeks... similar to the yank version but has bigger storage, pricey contracts though so I think I'll still with 3G for the time being as I doubt it would be faster than my wifi connection anyway, even if it is then it wouldn't be a significant amount.

If I'm honest I don't really see the point of the X+, the speed increase which will barely be noticeable will negate the benefit of having a bigger capacity battery and the camera improvements will only be slight... just seem like they've made it to say they have better specs than the S3 which to anyone who has used both phones we already know it's better :D
