I've been using this Galaxy Precedent for a couple years now, with no problems. Sure, it's not a high-end phone.....but it works for me just fine. I'd really rather not get rid of it, as I also have like 5 batteries for swapping out when I'm out of town, etc.
Problem: Yesterday, I dropped my phone pretty hard on a marble floor (from like 10'). It landed square on the back. The phone still works perfectly, but now, in places where I'd have 2-3 bars of signal strength.....it's either zero or the dreaded "x". This is so abrupt and drastic a change...I have to think I've someone damaged the antenna, though I can see nothing obvious from looking at the R1 port (right?).
Any thoughts or tips?? I guess I could just buy a new precedent....but I'd rather not.
Thanks in advance!!
