First of all, I prefer the stock messaging app, I've tried many others that support emojis and I didn't like any of them. I've also tried many emoji keyboards as well as several apps that will let you send emojis as a SMS and I didn't care for any of them as well.
I am thinking of just downloading a bunch of emojis/emoticons and putting them in a folder in my gallery. Then I can just pick one and send it as an SMS without an annoying app. Has anyone ever tried this? I'm doing this mainly for my wife, who really likes them, if it were just me I probably wouldn't go through the trouble lol.
