personally i run the nightly and find it to be very stable but sometimes you get bugs in the latest builds so if you do not wish to risk that i recommend one of the other builds.

You want a change? I say go for MIUI, run a launcher over it if you need. It's a beautiful ROM. I've been using it for a month now. I had to switch back to oxygen for a couple of days do to a problem with my recovery. Missed MIUI every second of it till I fixed my recovery, and switched back.

Have installed update-cm-7.0.3-Desire-signed but theres no google account or market app have i missed some thing?

Loving CM7,very smooth and no glitches at the mo ,the video recording is excellant,i found with Leedroid some stuttering on the recorded videos,Lots of new features ,its a pity you cant pick your favs and make the ultimate personnal rom,will enjoy this for the time being and have a look at the MIUI rom when im ready for another.
