Thinking of getting the S3 but have a question.

I might pick up the galaxy s3 but I am currently using a galaxy nexus and I love the pure google experience. I know that the s3 has samsungs touch wizz and I am not interested in that. My question is can I put pure jellybean on my galaxy s3?

Also is it wise to buy an s3 now or do you think I should wait until googles event in case they have something other than the lg nexus 4. I don't want the lg nexus 4 because it only has 8 gb storage and thats not cool for me.

IMHO i'm sure there are vanilla roms out there for the SG3, but there is no harm in waiting to see what google unveils (which the event has been postponed thanks to Hurricane Sandy!)

Yeah there are aosp roms out there. The samsung roms add so much though, theres no way I'd strip my s3 back to that. Its so much more than the sum of its parts. To upgrade just the hardware from a g nex doesn't make much sense to me
