Third party apps not recognised by google play

[mashhud]

Hi I recently installed some google play apps on my xperia S (2.3.7) but i downloaded them from alternate sources and now the Google Play store isn't showing them under my apps. Is there any way that I can make these go under 'my apps' (my phone isn't rooted and I would want to avoid that)

Only apps downloaded from Google Play will show up under My Apps.
