Im trying to download flash player onto my lg optimus l9 on chrome and I got the file directly from Adobe's website. But when I clicked on it it said that the file can harm my mobile device. I was just wondering what kind of harm might happen. If it would be a good idea to just install anyway. Also its an apk file.

That's a general warning the OS gives you whenever you side load applications
If you got it from adobes website, its likely safe

Google Chrome pulls the same annoyance with my Nexus 10. Reminds me of the same 'protect the user from themselves' stuff Internet Explorer did and I replaced it with a less annoying browser. I may do away with Chrome just for reminding me of IE.

The error message is pretty standard, but I wouldn't trust anything from that site, it's full of warez/piracy.
