To anyone new to android phones starting w/ this handset, it takes time regardless of the model/make to really get things going. Especially when its LG and then community is small, hang in there, donate a few bucks if you want, but keep it mind the specs of this handset, the ONLY downside is the screen, which I'm more than okay with. Mine runs smooth as butter at this point w/ all bloatware removed and some basic build prop edits/ minifree/oom values. 600+mb free (running services) w/ everything booted up, and I still have 164 Apps.

For example, the ZTE Warp, If you check their forum out now, it is FILLED with roms, tweaks, active members and constant updated roms. I purchased that handset way back when , we had nothing, and it took a while to get there.

I agree It does take time. for things too happen. I am purely stock out of box and I was impressed how well the phone performs. I just have a issue with running wifi. It drains the battery well. I am sure that will get corrected on OTA update coming. There is progress on this forum. We have the tools and talent too make the phone better than LG. I am waiting on the bugs too be worked out on the recovery. and once we get ICS. I will be starting too make kernel and ROMS for the viper.
