this is how much Bell Canada sucks

just wanted to share my frustration with everyone

I ordered my Note 2 on October 31, as it first became available to Bell according to my business account manager (not October 30th as was expected).

Today is Nov. 5, I followed up with the hardware department... and they tell me this: its OUT OF STOCK. i was sooooooooooo sad!! Like, c'mon... I've been waiting for this phone for months! and did they not know this when I ordered the phone? (oh and apparently I weren't able to pre-order from Bell when i kept bugging my account manager)

and then they forward me this email:

"Hello,

The device is on backorder, stock was depleted.
It looks as though they are expecting more stock from the vendor next week.
Once the stock is received pending orders will be fulfilled.


We have recently changed distribution warehouses and are currently experiencing a delay with processing & shipping orders from the new warehouse.
This delay impacts all orders created as of 1:00pm Eastern Time, Thursday October 18.

Please be advised that orders will be shipped within 7-10 business days. No rush orders are available.

We sincerely apologize for any delay this may cause. All teams are working diligently to clear the backlog and return to normal shipping lead-times.
"


So my day and, looks like, week was ruined... why does it have to affect ME that stupid Bell changed warehouses...

ok i'm done venting... hope your days are going better than mine...

That does suck, but you will still have your phone before the U.S. Verizon customers. Verizon is not releasing the phone until the 27th of November. I suppose this is so they can pre-install boat loads of bloatware like they always do.

Hope you get it soon!

So are they saying there is absolutely, positively nothing they can do for you?
 
i dont think there is anything they can do. My account manager isnt taking responsibility... but shouldnt he know they were never in stock to begin with?

im just frustrated.... bell didnt know when the phone was going to be out till october 31st when he told me htey have them now...

im upset cause its a business account and there isnt much they are going to do... if this was my personal account i would lose it on them...

absolutely not ok to leave clients in the dark like this...

what if i had no phone right now?

i sure hope its here next week like they said.... even my screen protector is hereeee :argh:

and i feel bad for Verizon customers too... we can be sour about this together :P

thanks guys.. had to vent to someone that gets it... im surrounded my iphoneys unfortunately.
 
Not sure what I'm about to say is true in your case, but lately it seems many distributors use a product database with reduced fields, and there are no fields for "coming soon, or available for pre-order"

Instead they lump everything into a single "out of stock" category, with an anticipated arrival date.

So when Bell Canada says the Galaxy Note 2 is "Out of Stock" - it may actually reflect that Bell Canada has not received the first shipment from Samsung yet. And the Customer Service reps are simply echoing what the Bell Canada database states: "out of stock" - when in fact it really means "initial delivery is delayed"

I walked into a Bell store in oakville on saturday and got a note 2. No reservations or anything. Sucks when you pre-order and walk ins get it before you.

that just makes me upset.

there was no difference between me going into a bell store and doing a hardware upgrade, or doing it through my business account with our account rep... instead now i have to wait, maybe another week or longer cause according to these idiots they actually dont know when they are getting them in stock.

oh... but no apologies from Bell... ridiculous

but at least you can enjoy the unit for the both of us lol :)
 
So does anyone know when Bell is supposed to launch theirs?

lauch was on october 30... but seems that stores didnt get the phones till next day - oct. 31... however somehow according to the email i posted they were out of stock for all the pre-orders starting october 18th.... which i was told we werent allowed to pre-order...

and the guy above seems to just get it just past saturday by walking in...

that shit cray! crayyyyy i say!

i dont know... but people have gotten theirs already... from canadain carriers, including bell... i have no idea what their issue is...

this wouldnt happen with the iphone launch im sure.
 
day 14 since I ordered my Note 2 and it's STILL not here.

can't express my annoyance in words... so here's how i feel: :argh::frown::thumbdown::bawling::motz::hmpf::s:
