So, well, hi. I'm a French professor living in Austin, TX, and I really don't fit the geek mold because I'm a middle-aged (ew, never said that before) woman. Last fall I rooted my HTC Magic (T-Mobile's myTouch 3G with the 3.5 mm jack) and installed CyanogenMod's Froyo ROM, which I just updated to 6.1 a couple of weeks ago. It's the geekiest thing I've done so far, and I'm terribly proud of myself. I know, pathetic, right? Apart from that, I'm about my family, my pets, dark chocolate, French roast coffee, and the Mac.
