This May Be A Dumb Question

Well, I got this phone on Friday. I have it on vibrate while at my desk at work and went to listen to Pandora. I plugged the 3.5mm headphones that I have at my desk and no music. I then tried to listen to the pre-loaded songs, and I heard it play for a bit but then stopped. I noticed that my headphones don't go in all the way so that the whole tip is in the phone. Could this be the reason? Does having the phone on vibrate stop you from hearing music? I really don't think so.

This may be a dumb question, but did you try turning off silent mode to see if it made a difference?

FWIW, turning on silent mode on my phone doesn't seem to make a difference in the sound of music playing through the headphone jack.

Having the phone in silent mode definitely does not afect the music through the headphone jack. Did you make sure to check that you turned up the volume after plugging in the headphones? To me, it sounds like something is not right with the headphone connection itself. Good luck in figuring it out.

If you have tried to posh it ask the way in, and turned up the volume, I agree with the guy. Something is wrong with the connection. One other tip, did you restart your phone, out tried 5.1 channel?

I'm sure poshing it ask the way in is not a nice way to treat your phone
If it does not work hold it under water till the bubbles stop and then give it a good charge
