This one's really got me stumped

Trying to see if there is a way in tasker to distinguish between when I plug my galaxy s3 in the car charger and have it do one thing and when I plug it into my wall charger have tasker do something else All I see for choices it's ac or usb or wireless and off course all any ideas???

I have if it is charging and connected to home WiFi (or not) only slight problem is I have to wait a short while before plugging phone into charge in the car as I am still connected to WiFi in my drive.

The way I addressed this is to have the profile trigger when my phone is on its side and plugged into USB. I use a landscape orientation windscreen mount and this is the only situation when my phone is charging and sideways.

Did you try the USB setting on the power option, I believe (depending upon the car charger) it will draw a lower amperage so tasker will distinguish that from a mains charger
