This phone is Epic!

Hello all. New to the Android OS. Just got the Epic as an upgrade from my Rumor 2 (hella upgrade innit?) Can't wait to dig in start modding the phone. Pretty tech and software savy. Can't wait to learn some more about this great mobile OS!

My Epic got the Android 2.2 update last night. BIG MISTAKE! My predictive texting does not work any more (I type "hellp" and it suggests '!')!

My favorite apps don't work anymore.

DO NOT UPGRADE TO 2.2! IT IS ALL EYE CANDY AND NO (actually much LESS!) SUBSTANCE.

Sometimes major updates like that need a factory reset to get things cleared up. Other times booting to the recovery menu and clearing cache is sufficient.
