Thought I'd say hello.

Just thought I'd introduce myself and say hello.

Although I'm an Apple user (iPad/iPhone/iMac) I have recently purchased a 32gb Nexus tablet which I'm extremely impressed with.

The Android OS is new to me and I'm keen to learn more about it and get the most from it. Also it makes a nice change to use as I'm used to the Mac OS/IOS and support Windows as work.

I know people tend to be quite divided or passionate about their chosen phone/tablet but I like to think I'm open to both of the rivals. :D

Which tablet is it - Nexus 7 or 10? Either way, we have a dedicated forum here for users of that device, as well as the general Android Discussion area of the forum.

Open-mindedness is a good thing too. Glad to have you join us :D

It's a Nexus 7 as I wanted something smaller than a standard iPad and significantly lighter in this case. I just couldn't justify the cost of an iPad Mini and getting double the capacity and just as much capability for a lot less money is very appealing.

Nice thing with Android is that it allows me to be a bit techy as it's more easy to customise than IOS.
