Help Thousands of copies of same file attachment

Alright so here's the deal. It seems like when I view emails with attachments and try to open or view the attachment, my phone likes to download that attachment (usually movies and/or pics) and then copy it about 1,500 times onto my sdcard in the "download" folder.

I'm not sure if it's copying it right away or if somehow I have an email setting messed up where it's downloading it over and over again when it refreshes.

If there's any advice you have for me or settings I can check, that would be great.
