Hi there guys, I applied for a S3 yesterday via threes website. I could not complete the whole thing as I got a message saying saying that they will need to confirm a few more details with me so therefore I failed the auto credit check?

I rang up and they said that they need to do a Manuel credit check, my question is, why and what is it?

Last question, does the handset have any "3" logos on the phone?

They just check your bank account to see if you will be able to pay their monthly fees.

There are no external logos but when you switch on the phone the 3 logo comes up. there is also a three app preloaded which you can use to check your minutes texts etc but it is uninstallable

Ah crap, I only got like 30 odd quid in my account, I should of held on till this Friday as its pay day!

I had the same thing but I think it was because I had changed address too many times for their liking in the last three years and the three addresses I gave didn't cover the three years. When I phoned them the guy said it had already been cleared and my phone would be dispatched. So there may be no problem for you really.

It doesn't matter how much money you have in your account. It is your credit rating which means how trustworthy your account is. If you are paying all your bills in time and don't go into overdraught often then you should be fine!
