Thunderbolt dims instead of timout

My Thunderbolt's screen recently started to dim rather than timeout. I have all the settings correct. It just began doing it by itself. I think after a couple of apps updated. I don't know which apps they were. Is there a way to find out?

Is this while it is charging or plugged in? Because thats what it does for all of them when its charging. If not, then something could be messed up

No it is not plugged in or charging. Just sitting there I have it set to timeout after 2 minutes and it used to time out. Now it just dims.

interesting, you dont by chance have "always awake" checked on under settings>applications>development do you?

best bet to fix it for sure, as bad as it sounds, is to do a factory reset.

Solved problem. It was the VZ Navigator "update". I opened VZ Navigator and it asked me to setup again and after I did, the screen timeout started to function properly again.

Thanks for your imput.

Ever since I flashed BAMF Sense 3 RC3, my screen dims after a few min. I have the screen time-out set at 10 min.

(Edit: I don't think I have VZ Nav on my ROM) - Have not seen or set it up.

I wish VZ Navigator would fix whatever the problem is..... seems like now every time the navigator updates itself my thunderbolt goes back to dimming instead of timing out.

The only way to make my phone work properly is to turn on in the morning..go into VZ Navigator, and then exit it before screen will timeout properly?

My wife's TB does this. Good to know there's a solution.

Solution to your wife or to the TB?
