Thunderbolt is now a penny on Amazon.

Yeah it has been bothering me all day, the little review/rating/price box under each thread. $0.01 compared to what I paid for the phone :D hey gotta hope some of those who pick up the deal come over here and join up with AF

They're just trying to clear inventory as much ast they can before the next generation of phones come out. We were the guinea pigs of the disastrous launch of a phone known as the HTC thunderbolt. If you're not poor, I would not recommend getting this p hone to just to save yourslef the hours of truoble configuring it properly and rooting.

if people who have unlimited data, get this penny Thunderbolt, will they keep or lose their unlimited data?

I love my Thunderbolt! No complaints and I have my origial from launch day. A penny!? Next time I am waiting til price drops! Good deal!

I got my thunderbolt a few weeks ago and I saw it on amazon for a penny too and then I went to get it and then when I clicked I was an existing customer it went up 150. you have to be a brand new customer and get a new data plan you cannot be an existing customer with verizon and get it for 1 penny. Also since Verizon doesn't offer unlimited any more your screwed. if you're an existing verizon customer with unlimited you have to pay the 150 to keep your unlimited plan.

Heavens! Did Verizon and HTC finally figure out the true value of the mighty Thunderfailure?

Thunderbolt 2 or whatever the official name is will be available soon... The time period for jacked up profit margins on the thunderbolt is over.

This happens with all technology - If you have the patience to wait you'll get a better deal, but you won't have the "newest" thing anymore. I always wait when buying TV's, since you get a great deal on them around Feb./March. That being said, I'd pay a penny for a thunderbolt for sure.
