Tiger Text...lol

I think it's an interesting idea.

The founder of the company said the name of the app and the timing of the release were just coincidences to Mr. Woods' recent troubles. I find that hard to believe that a little slick marketing isn't in play as well.

For anyone wondering, the application is now available in the Android marketplace to download.
Hi androidfan1,

Want to hear something bizarre? I have a Samsung Moment™ (SPH-m900) android phone and tried to download the tiger text app from the Android Marketplace. Surprise to me, it wasn't there! *shrugging my shoulders* I wonder what could be going on? After going to the tiger text website, I sent an email to the tiger text contact link and am awaiting a reply. Just thought I would let you know about this.

Can i set it to only self destruct texts from particular people  ?

Does it work even if the second person does not have the program installed?

Found the answer on the makers website. You have to have the receiving phone also installing the program before it can work so it does not work for all text recipients...useless for me.

I know that if you're running an android version that has marketplace version 1.5 or lower you wont be able to find it in the marketplace until you upgrade it.

Same here, I was going to download it until I read that it had to be on both phones in the description. Not that I need it, it would have just been one of those things that was cool to have.

So...is there an alternative app? I just want something that I can tell it to receive the text discreetly...instead of a huge thing popping up on my screen.
