Help Tilt/Flip Feature Stopped Working

My LG Optimus phone just stopped allowing me to flip/tilt my phone and view the screen horizontally. The feature is activated and I did try removing the battery but no luck. Any ideas. Is this is app that can be reloaded?

Did you disable it in the notification drop down?
