Help Time incorrect after android update

The issue was solved itself somehow. Suddenly the clock/stop watch begun to work properly. For 4-5 days only. Today morning the clock had begun to lating again.

What have I done to solve this issue:
1, removed the ASUS Weather icon/widget from the main screen
2, turned the device off (not restarted!) and turned back.

Now it's working fine. I'm pretty sure that the issue is somewhere in the widget handling system of the tablet/android.

Did anyone work out a solution that didn't involve a factory reset? My tablet was playing up so I restarted it and the time is slow again. Really don't want to have to want reset it again.

This was a problem with asus firmware. They fixed it with a lollipop update.

A found that the "Network Monitor Mini" widget/app caused the issue. Once I ignored it, the issue never came back.
