Time on lock screen

Hi,

For personal reasons I want to remove the time on my lock screen. It flashes up every now and then when the phone is moved or just whenever. I also just want to remove it all together from lock screen and preferably also the notification bar.

Any way or any how to do this?

If not can someone suggest a phone model where I can?

Thanks in advance.

I suppose that I could be more specific. By 'it's not that simple' I mean that Kate's suggestion is actually entirely incorrect. If you go into settings on a G4 Plus, there is not top level 'Moto' item. There is, however, a Display option, although there is nothing in there that turns the time off in any way, shape or form.

So after making a fairly thorough effort of my own looking through all my settings, I decided to post on this forum, it appearing to be one of the most popular Android forums on the internet and 'investigate'. I made the assumption that there being 'Android experts' on here they may know less well-published tips, hacks or even apps that might have a more 'nerdy' level of ability to interact with Android settings.

So here I am. Looks like I might have to post on a few other Android sites.

Cheers.

Do you have a preinstalled app called Moto? That does the same thing as Settings -> Moto.

Some Moto phone models have the app, others have the option in settings.
Thanks for that, I was able to remove the setting that causes the time to flash up when moving the device.
