Hi All,
In the near future we're having a running contest with a few 100 runners.
Last year the time registration did not go very smooth, so I was thinking about using a QR code for this.
Why not print a big QR code next to the big number that the runners carry, and have a smartphone scan the QR code, after which it is recognized by some app on the smartphone. When all runners have arrived this app should make a summary of the timings, and maybe send it to a desktop or email address (to use it on a desktop pc...)
I was wondering if such a program already exists.
(it would have to consist of 2 parts; a desktop part for printing the QR codes & handling data afterwords) & a smartphone part for scanning QR data & keeping track of the time.
I hope it does!
Thanks
