Time-/worksheet app?

OttoMan28

Lurker
I'm searching for an app to track my time spend with customers.
It needs to be able to either import a client list, or look up a client from e.g. contacts.
Whatever it emails me, or I have to export a text file to get the total for project, either is fine.
But it must also be capable to send an email to the customer, kind of a receipt that proves you have been onsite.

Any suggestions?

Thank /OM

Check out my free app Timesheet:

Timesheet lets you pick clients from your contacts and create HTML, and soon PDF, reports that you can e-mail your customers. It also calculates overtime, manage expenses, can be automated and much more. Timesheet is probably the most complete time tracking app on the market.

Free download at the Google Play Store:

Hi ’ lamalab’

I’m well aware of your application, its very nice.

The primarily reason that I did not went with your Timesheet, was the lack of sending emails to customers. So I’m happy to see that will be implemented. What’s the timeframe on that?
What I had in mind what that you at any time can send a status of a given project. Lets say you run a task that runs over several days, then its important that with you e.g. leave the site, can send a short status to the client, or even a complete ‘copy’ of the project. This way they what’s going on, when you have been there, what you might be waiting for ect.

Correct it can send emails, but this what not what I had in mind.
Here you have create a report, then select you email client, then look your clients email up, create a subject/body then send it.
Unless I have misunderstood something???

I'm more looking for function like a button, or so, where you tip or update client with the current state.
Something you do when you call it a day or you have to break up for what ever reason.
And as TimeSheet is so smart that it tie the projects the Contacts DB I would assume you would know the clients emails adresse

Your correct, Timesheet doesn't have that feature. That would require login and password for your e-mail account, something we don't wan't to handle.
