Help Time Zone incorrect

Hi:
I was wondering if anyone else ever had this problem. Yesterday while on 4G my S5(Boost) kept switching to the wrong time zone. Whenever it was on Automatic it would go to Mountain Time(I am on Pacific Time) and then randomly switch between the two. When I got home and went on WiFi it stayed on Mountain time consistently. So far I have it set to Manual Time Zone(Pacific)and it seems to be ok but anytime I put it back on Automatic it goes back to Mountain time. I also was having trouble with the time on the weather widget when Daylight savings started so I'm not sure if the 2 issues are related. Any help would be appreciated.
 
I had a similar problem while in holiday in Portugal and Greece. Automatic time zone would not set properly even on wireless access at the hotels (I did not have 4G there). Never could get it to work. I am on U. S. Cellular and get the feeling it has something to do with the carrier settings on the S5.
 
I always have problems with automatic time zone because half the time it seems to forget I am in Arizona which is on Mountain Standard Time year round.
 
I used to live in Phoenix, AZ and it was just far simpler to lock the phone in Manual mode and to hell with the rest of the world.

My head can compute what time it is in the other zones. The only zone I wanted to know for sure is "back home" because I traveled on the job a lot in 3 time zones.
 
That is what I finally did. Got tired of fighting with it. Don't even get me started on that UTC crapola. I hate dealing with that on downloaded calendar entries. It shows the correct time but only when you actually open the event not even just looking at the summary in month view.
 
Glad you mentioned the calendar issue. That was a problem for me in Europe. We traveled through three time zones there and I had entered the local times for flights in the calendar while on my PC. What I got while on the trip was messed up completely.

Also, I always have location services turned on.
