Timed Screen Lock App? HELP!!!!

Problem Description: I hate to use screen lock on my phone (just because its annoying), but i have a problem with my kids getting up in the middle of the night and playing on my phone (and calling people). I don't want a parent control app where it locks/blocks "everything" including incoming calls ect. during the set time. Please tell me there is an lock app that i can set a password/pattern/facial recognition to that will lock my phone automatically at say like... 9 pm a unlock my phone at 7 am (having to unlock the phone using the password/pattern/facial recognition first time only). Anytime in between those set times you would need the code as well. Someone tell me this is out there and where to find it. Thank you in advance. JL

On my Samsung Galaxy S4 I can do what you're asking.
Maybe you have the same phone and can simply follow these directions....

1. Go to Settings
2. Select "My Device"
3. Select "Lock Screen"
4. Select "Secured with a pattern"
5. Then, make whatever pattern you want to enable "Unlock"

Then, you can manually set the time intervals for lock screen.

Can you not just turn it off at night? You are/should be asleep after all ....

Oh, and I know some people will knock me for mentioning this and not keeping to the original question but, as a Dad myself there is NO way that my kid would do that more than once.

I'm also pretty sure they're not looking for parenting advice either...

I do that too - so it's set to airplane mode (oh, and silent mode) when I go to bed (manually).

As for the 'parenting' advice, I just couldn't undestand, as it wasn't explained, why anyone else would get access to the phone if by his bed if used as an alarm, say?

But hey, everybody's different ......
