timestamp on sms messages

Hi forums,

Sorry if this has already been answered, I searched but couldn't find anything.

I have the HTC Hero & am using the built-in messaging application.

Is there a way to always display at what time messages arrive? For messages older than the current day, it just says "Yesterday", but I would prefer "Yesterday at 5:00 pm" or whatever.

Even holding on the message and going to "View message details" still says "Sent: Yesterday" which is slightly infuriating.

Must be a HERO thing .. my default msg app gives the date and if i long-press a specific msg i get full ph #, time, &
date

This bugs me too but I still have not found any info on enabling timestamps or if this just an oversight by HTC that might be fixed.
