Tiny time and date widget?

I have my homescreen configured in a particular way, and would like to squeeze in a tiny time and date widget, like a 1 x 2. All I ever see is huge time and date screens with a particular scene, whereas I like live wallpaper. Or, even if I can get my notification bar to read the date, that would be the ultimate.
