Tips on using HTC Wildfire S

Hi Everyone, I'm Joann and I've recently got an HTC Wildfire S. I'm finding it a bit difficult to use as it's very different from my old dinosaur of a phone. The no. pad is so sensitive. Till now I've not been able to send a text message successfully. Can anyone suggest a good pointer or any other tips that might help ? Cheers Joann
