Titanium Backup and Google Drive?

Folks, calm down please; we attack issues, not each other.

I appreciate how frustrating it is when something that seems so simple doesn't work and sometimes it is difficult to tell tone of things that are said via text. However I assure you, we're ALL only trying to help. If anyone sees something out of line though, hit report and we'll take a look at it.

Do you have 2-Step verification setup on your Google Account per chance? I know that's caused issues for me when trying to add 3rd Party apps access to Google apps/services.

I have no idea what that two-step thing is you mention, so I assume I don't have it set. :)

I think it's working now, after removing TB data from my SD card (which I note was not mentioned by the "helpful" one above, that one occurred to me to try on a "well, this can't get any worse" theory). At least, I now have log-in. I've had a failed sync, but I think that's some other issue. I cleaned out the relevant folders to re-try the sync.

Still very unhappy with the total lack of response from the developer.

A Drive sync takes around 3-4 attempts to backup the 600mb or so I have whereas Dropbox works first time every time. Not sure its a Drive issue or a TiB one?

Luckily TiB starts where it left off but it means I can't set it up as a schedule. Pity because even over wifi it takes around an hour.

I had that kinda problem with Box, it was taking forever to back up 368meg, thought maybe it was my cell connection. [I use my cell to tether tablet] So I took it over to a freind house with 1000x faster cable internet and it was just as slow doing a tablet backup.

try if this works for you ...

When you enable "google drive" in menu-> preferences, It will create a new schedule in the schedules tab ( the third tab, beside " backup/restore tab" ) . Click on "RUN" and it should start uploading. If it doesn't work the first time .. reload the application and the try it ... it shuld worl

If ayone's still listening.

This worked for me.
I was having the exact same issue, and kicking off the sync task that was generated automatically did exactly what i needed. It asked me for my credentials, asked me to allow titanium backup access to my google account, and it's now performing its first sync.

I'll test my backup task once it's done, if that sync's like its supposed to, then i'd say this is fixed. I'll report back if it doesnt work.

It's been more than two years, but this worked perfectly for me. Thanks.
